Dear readers and followers:
I am so sad it has been about two weeks since my last post, I have just moved into a new house. I have been back and forth for two weeks trying to go to school, study for finals, move and go shopping at the same time. I used to live in an rural area now I live in a more urban. We have just gotten cable yesterday and we DO NOT have internet :( Soooo, I find myself sitting in the Starbucks four houses down from my new home and writing this post to tell you how terrible I feel for not sharing and Hauls, Look of The Days, or anything else. Well I am so glad I have free Wifi here! Because tomorrowwwwwww,
I will be filming a new THRIFT STORE HAUL VIDEO! :D
I pinky promise you wont be let down. I would have filmed it tonight but it is too hard to find a decent amount of light. So tomorrow it will be posted. Lemon Poppy Seed Cake: Thanksgiving Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cups - All Purpose Flour
3 Tbs - Poppy Seeds
2 Tspns. - Baking Powder
1.5 Tspn. - Salt

------------------------------------------------------------------

1 & 1/2 Cups - Sugar
1 Cup + 4 Tbsp - Butter

------------------------------------------------------------------

4 - Eggs
2.5 Tspn. - Lemon Zest
2.5 Tbsn. - Lemon Juice
1/2 Cup - Sour Cream

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees.

Mix together flour, poppy seeds, baking powder and salt in small bowl. Then set aside.

In large bowl, beat together butter and sugar until fluffy.

Add eggs, lemon zest, lemon extract.

Then, gradually blend in the flour mix.

Then add the sour cream, your probaby wondering why would I add sour cream to this recipe. Wellllll, sour cream adds a lovely texture and makes the cake very moist. I promise you'll fall in love! ;)

Now your done with the cake batter =D

Take two nine inch pans and butter and flour them to the batter won't stick after baking.

Distribute cake batter evenly. Cake batter will be thick. Do. not. worry. Put in oven and let bake for 21 minutes until golden brown.

Frosting Ingredients:
8 oz - Cream Cheese
1/2 Cup (One stick) - Butter
4 Cups - Confectioners Sugar
2 Tspns. - Vanilla Extract
2 Tbspns. - Lemon Juice
1.5 Tspn. -Lemon Zest

Mix together butter and cream cheese.

Then After that, this is what you will recieve after you have mixed the lemon juice, lemon zest and vanilla exctract. You may add more lemon juice or extract that is best suited for your taste. I hope you love this recipe, I am so proud of it since I invented it.Thanks for reading! xoxo

So I had my interview with Crossroads on monday. And I never really get the chance to dress proffesionally. Soo... I put together this outfit! Hope you like. The interview went well, I hope the assistant manager liked me. I didn't have trouble with the questions, I really hope my personality came through. I hope I get called again for a second interview! -<3<3

Thrifting and Shopping, great finds.

Today me and my mom decided to go to Crossroads Trading Company. A place that gives you the ability to buy, sell, or trade clothes. If your looking for great ways to save money then I highly suggest you visit any store closest near you. I always find something here for a great price.. Today I bought my forever 21 high waisted skirt, I saw it and decided to try it on since I should be buying clothes other than shirts. I fell in love with it! Although it fits me a little tight I will use it as a motivation to start hitting the gym more often. :) So it works out! I also found the American Eagle denim long sleeve, at first it didn't look that great. But I told myself my number one rule, which is.. YOU HAVE TO TRY IT ON. So I did and what do you know? I loved it! My total came around to $16... And I was really satisfied with my purchases. I also applied to work here since I will be literally be moving one minute away from my nearest Crossroads, I have an appointment tomorrow at 6. Wish me luck! :)

As you may have read with another post below, I really really am motivated to design my own Shabby Chic style room. If your not sure what it is, Google image it and you will know what I am talking about I promise. At first I was wanting a rod iron bed, from an antique store. Or just a regular wooden white painted head board and foot board. While me and my mom were on our way to our new house we saw a thrift store, let me just say one thing. I LOVE THRIFT STORES! Because you never know what you will find! And to my surprise, I found a bed frame, for $10! I am going to make a project out of it and paint it white with gold accents, starting in a couple hours. I will show the ending product when it is all done. Thanks for reading..

Fall Homecoming

So I was walking through the mall, after I had bought a dress from Forever 21. Then all of a sudden I see Arden B, and a lot of sparkly dresses. =D So me and my mom rushed over there and I found the perfect dress! I thought it would be a little different than everybody elses, and I LOVED the way it fit. It's currently online for sale for $52.00. Great deal since I bought it for more.

Shabby Chic

I have been debating on what type of room style I should chose. At first, I wanted something modern. But now that I have thought about it, i'm more comfortable with a Shabby Chic style, whitch consists of a lot of pastel colors, flowers, vintage furniture and antiques. Since I am going to be moving, my room will be a little bigger than now, soooo.. I should show you the complete project in a month or so. Salut.. :)
